As always, thank you Mike. You are a true inspiration to both me (your age... 1961 birthdate) and my grandson whom I just started teaching to play ( much younger than us. 2002 birthdate ). That in itself speaks for the longevity of your playing. I mean, 40 years between us, and we both list you in out top 5 playing influences! So again, THANK YOU!

Mike, you amaze me more every video of yours I run across. I'm just starting to teach my grandson how to play drums (he's always wanted to just never had time... Teenagers...) and these will be so helpful because you are one of his favorite drummers. I love it... A 19 year old kid just starting to play and one of his drum idols is a guy my age! Awesome.

I have seen many people covering this song, but they play it with great difficulty. It is truly amazing to see Mangini performance, he can play such complex rhythms so effortlessly without feeling any burden or difficulty at all.

MIke, you are absolutely insane! I thought this one was hard enough to follow at normal speed. But no!... That's not enough for you! You have to ramp it up to 110%! Like I said... In-Sane!

The decision about what to do with DT is impossibly hard to deal with. Principle would say that they should have kept Mike M because he is a great drummer and fit the bill superbly. And is it right that Portnoy just gets to decide to turn back up and waltz back in. The other side of the coin is how can they refuse the opportunity to do another album with Portnoy's input? It's so tough, and also so unfair.

The impossible could happen to Portnoy playing the drums exactly the same during recording and live concerts Of course Portnoy is always random, remember it's not improv but random
